CTE was formed in February 2012 in Oslo, Norway by Marius Ekra, Magnus Brucker, Elias Pellicer, Christian Grim and Ruben Andresen. Their debut EP "Dawn Of The New Era" was released October 1st 2012. In 2013 some line-up changes occurred, Jacop Redzepi and Jan Napalm stepped into the band to close the line-up gaps and began work on the next innovative full length release of the band. The mindset for this band has always been "Nothing is impossible, you just have to do it" and in that way they twisted up their approach to extreme metal and music in general. And went for the sound that spans from bone crushing breakdowns with juicy leads to technical riffs that will sound simple but yet complex.
The message is clear and the message is important to this band. The intention is to put a genre that has been faceless for years and give it a face of darkness, cold, and mind torturing brutality. Look out for the new material these guys are about to unleash!
